Day 1, On the Road

 We left our house around 1PM on Saturday and headed over to meet up with Ed and Jean in Moriah. After loading Ed's bike we were on our way by 2PM. We had an uneventful drive to our over night stop, the Cracker Barrel in Binghamton arriving around 7PM.

We had a nice dinner at CB and were ready for bed after our 'day one shake down leg'. We had been watching the weather in Binghamton, it was forecast to be 20F at night, we gambled and filled our tanks at home before we left. Ed and Jean's RV is still liquid but the Serenity Falcon apparently has a low tolerance to the cold. Our water pump runs continuously, which means something is froze. This happened last year and things thawed out on the road, fingers crossed. 

Today, Sunday, we will make our way towards Nashville but will stop for the night outside Columbus at a Harvest Host Brewery.
